We don&#8217;t always have before and after shots of things, and if we do they seem to get stuck on memory cards somewhere in the cupboard and we don&#8217;t have a look and compare to now to see how things are coming along. But today I was scanning through some old directories and came across the photos that we took <a href=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/?p=1664\">just over a year ago when we started to disguise the septic tank.<\/a> This one, in fact: <\/p>\n<p align=center><a href=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/septic_disguise_large.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/septic_disguise_small.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"septic disguise\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Made me realise that some things have indeed changed over the last year! Here&#8217;s what it looks like today:<\/p>\n<p align=center><a href=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/septic2012_large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/septic2012_small.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"septic mostly disguised\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/septic2012_small.jpg 450w, https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/septic2012_small-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A lot better! Not perfect, but we&#8217;re getting there. And the much more even grass and lack of shingle piles is still a huge relief.
