We&#8217;ve finally been visited by a herd of cows, and boy doesn&#8217;t the paddock know it! Even with huge feeds of hay as well they&#8217;ve demoed just about everything that looks even vaugely green in the strips they&#8217;ve been confined to. Including a fair few pine branches that have been accessible.<\/p>\n<p align=center><a href=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/cows_large.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/cows_small.jpg\" alt=\"cows_small\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2993\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/cows_small.jpg 450w, https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/cows_small-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The kids have been really enjoying watching them and the daily routine of feed, move fence, see cows run for grass\/oats\/whatever is there, re-install fence a bit further back, repeat tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>By the looks of it the paddock is getting a fair old dose of fertiliser, which is good!
