{"id":435,"date":"2008-11-26T19:55:43","date_gmt":"2008-11-26T19:55:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/?p=435"},"modified":"2008-11-26T19:55:43","modified_gmt":"2008-11-26T19:55:43","slug":"meet-our-plant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/?p=435","title":{"rendered":"Meet our plant&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Right, so we&#8217;re going to have to ease into this blogging thing again, so let&#8217;s start with something easy.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Meet our plant!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img alt=\"plant1.jpg\" id=\"image433\" src=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/plant1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ok, so on first look it&#8217;s not that exciting. But for us it&#8217;s become a bit of a clock. When we inherited it from someone&#8217;s flat a few years ago we called it &#8220;the stick&#8221;.\u00a0 It only had about 2 or 3 leaves, and looked pretty darn sad.\u00a0 And it stayed that way for quite a few years. Over the last few, though, it&#8217;s gradually got more and more and more leaves and now looks pretty much like a real plant.<\/p>\n<p>And this year there was a big surprise.\u00a0 It flowered! A big, strange, collection of flower type things popped out the top, sat around for a while, and then fell off.\u00a0 And then another one appeared!<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img alt=\"plant2.jpg\" id=\"image434\" src=\"https:\/\/coffeehouse.co.nz\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/plant2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The second one&#8217;s almost ready to fall off now by the look of it, and a new leaf has already appeared.<\/p>\n<p>No idea what type of plant it is though.
