Yum yum…

This week the parsley plant has taken a bit of a beating.  We used a fair few of it’s leaves for 3 nights in a row, but luckily it looks like it’s coping with that.

I have to say that when we were chopping  it up there was a yummy parsley smell in the kitchen that we’ve just not had with the bought bags.. Now if the coriander would just get a bit of a wriggle on, we’ll be able to see if that does the same.

Apologies for the photo.  This was taken when we first used some, but it has needed some serious tweaking due to some sunlight issues at the time…

I can only imagine how excited you are going to be when you grow your first carrot or tomato…..

    Tomato – yes, very probably.
    Carrots – yes, possibly.
Even an eggplant might be exciting enough.

It’ll all be fine just as long as no broad beans manage to make an appearance…

I planted broad beans for the first time this year… they are flowering now so if you come in a month or two you can help to pod them….

NNNnnnnooooooooooooo! Don’t make me! You can’t put me through that again!!

You’re very brave putting yourself through that! Or have you been having therapy and now’s the test to see if it’s working?

Just a follow up to this post.

We used some of the mint we’ve been growing tonight, and it too left the kitchen smelling nice when chopping. Not like the bought stuff. Again, yum, yum!
